When do teams typically begin working on their Challenge and what does the Challenge season look like?

Teams usually begin their work on or around August 1. Their exact practice schedule is determined by the team based on their needs and availability.

The 23-24 Challenges will be released on August 15. You can view previews of these Challenges here.

Most local tournaments fall in late February or early March. As needed, additional tournaments take place throughout March and April. To view tournament schedules for your local Affiliate, please see our Find DI Near Me page.

Global Finals take place in May each year, marking the culmination of our Challenge season.
